“guided tour was good! it didn’t connect to my location on my phone though which i expected, so it was hard to match up where i was with the info spots on the app to get the correct tour recording. the information was interesting and knossos itself was so cool! sadly the biggest part of it was closed, which was sad, but i visited during the off season so it’s unfortunately common.”

“The tour was great, the weather was great and our guide Vangelis is more a history teacher then a guide. He was absolutely fantastic with all his knowledge about the ancient history, not only the greek one but also the roman history. He has all the skills to make you confortable with the tour and with all the informations that he knows verry well how to provide. It worth all the money! Evharisto para poli Vangelis!”
Review of Crete’s Knossos, Lasithi, monastery, village and olive farm tour, with practical advice on price, timing, stops and group size.
“A jam packed tour of monastery, nunnery, fantastic tasting of local olive oils, raki and honey and cheese, amazing views of the mountains and plain, the bus driver and guide were the best. Plenty of time for the Dikteon cave( quite an uphill climb but healthy looking donkeys on hand to hire) Knossos fantastic, different guide for that was very informative.. only gripe is she rushed us back to bus, no time for loo, museum or shop browse. I’d rather have had 15 mins less at Knossos and had a slow walk back to the bus”

Review of Knossos Palace’s skip-the-line small-group tour, with guide quality, timing, price, meeting tips, and honest advice for Crete visitors.
“We had a positive experience touring Knossos Palace. Our guide was very informative and communicated clearly with the group, even on a day with 50+ mph winds. She did a great job using audio equipment so we could follow along despite the weather. The site itself is rich with history and mythology, and having a guide made a big difference in helping us understand and appreciate what we were seeing. While Knossos is fascinating, there’s only so much to explore on-site, so we’d recommend pairing the visit with a trip into the city afterward to round out the day. Overall, a worthwhile tour that gives great insight into one of…”
